# How to Complete a Quest as a Solver

Welcome to the world of Quests on THE GUILD! Quests are a cornerstone of our platform providing opportunities to showcase your abilities, earn rewards, and contribute to impactful projects. Whether you’re a developer, designer, marketer, or just looking to earn some XP, there’s a quest waiting for you to conquer.

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through all you need to know to successfully complete a quest.

### **Step 1 — View Available Quests** <a href="#b290" id="b290"></a>

Navigate to the *“QUESTS”* tab to see all available Quests.

### **Step 2 — Explore Quest Details** <a href="#id-489f" id="id-489f"></a>

Click on any quest to get a brief overview. For more information, click *“See More”* to view the full Quest details.

In the detailed quest description, you’ll find information about the Quest including:

* A detailed description of the quest
* Reviews from other Solvers who have previously worked with the Seeker
* Any attachments or additional resources provided
* Required skills for the quest
* A link to the seeker’s profile for more background information

### **Step 3 — Apply for a Quest** <a href="#id-785d" id="id-785d"></a>

If the quest interests you, click on the *“Apply”* button.

**Submit Your Proposal**: You will be directed to a “Create Proposal” page. Here, you can submit your cover letter, portfolio, resume, or any other relevant documents to convince the Seeker to choose you.

**Wait for Approval**: After submitting your proposal, the Seeker will review your application. If you meet the requirements of the Quest, your application will be approved.

**Track Your Applications**: You can monitor the status of your applications by going to the *“QUESTS”* tab and clicking o&#x6E;*‘My Quests’*.

Remember to set you *“Role”* to *‘Solver’*. Here, you can view Quests you have applied for, those in progress, under review, completed, or rejected.

Click on *“View Details”* to access the Quest Dashboard.

* Here you can use the **Quest Messenger** to communicate with the Seeker.
* If you click on the *“Proposal”* tab, you can see the Cover Letter you submitted, your skills provided, and your linked Portfolio.
* If you click on the *“Offer”* tab, you can create a new offer for the Seeker. You can input a new Price or Duration of the Quest. For example, you can offer your services at a cheaper price to try and entice the Seeker to accept you.

**Get Notified**: When your Quest gets accepted, you will receive a notification. You can either go directly to the Quest through the Notifications or go back to *“My Quests”* and check the *“In Progress”* tab to see all of the quests that are in progress.

### Step 4 — Complete Your Quest <a href="#id-7618" id="id-7618"></a>

Using the Quest Messenger, upload any necessary files to complete your Quest.

### Step 5 — Request for Review <a href="#id-850b" id="id-850b"></a>

Once you have completed the Quest, click on *“Request for Review”* for the Seeker to review your work.

### Step 6 — Sign the Transaction <a href="#ac26" id="ac26"></a>

You will be prompted to sign a transaction. If you haven’t connected your wallet, go to your profile and connect your wallet through your desired wallet provider. You don’t have to pay for anything except for gas, and this transaction triggers the quest completion on the blockchain.

**Track Review Status**: Go back to *“My Quests”* and check the *“Review”* tab to see all of your Quests under review. The Seeker may ask for more information or request revisions.

**Review Timeframe**: The Seeker has 72 hours to review your work. If the seeker does not settle or create a dispute within this period, you will be able to settle the Quest. This ensures that even if the Seeker disappears, you don’t have to wait indefinitely for payment.

### Step 7 — Successful Completion <a href="#fdea" id="fdea"></a>

When the Seeker is happy with your work, you will receive a notification that you have successfully completed the Quest.

Congratulations! Your earnings and rewards will be automatically credited to your account.

**View Completed Quests**: Go back to *“My Quests”* and check the *“Completed”* tab to see all of the Quests you have completed. Here, you can write a review for the Seeker if you want.
