🔍How to Complete a Quest as a Seeker

On THE GUILD, talent is just a Quest away. As a Seeker, you bring your opportunities to our ecosystem, furthering a sense of collaboration and accomplishment. Big or small, on THE GUILD you can find the expertise to bring your ideas to reality.
In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through all you need to know to submit a quest and engage with our talent pool to accomplish your goals.
Click on the “QUESTS” tab located at the top of the page.
Click on the “Post a new quest” button to start creating your quest.
Enter Quest Title: Type in the name of your quest. Make sure the title clearly indicates what the quest is about to attract appropriate Solvers.
Example: “Logo Design for a New Startup”
Select a Category: Choose the category that best fits your quest from the following options:
Graphic and Design
Digital Marketing
Programming and Tech
Video and Animation
Writing and Translation
Music and Audio
Photography
Example: If you are posting a quest for logo design, select “Graphic and Design”
Input the Timezone (Optional): If you have a preferred timezone for the Solver, enter it here. This step is optional.
Example: “UTC — 06:00”
Enter Quest Description: Provide a detailed description of the quest so that solvers understand the scope and requirements.
Example: “We need a creative logo for our new tech startup. The logo should be modern, innovative, and include our company colors (blue and green). It should represent our commitment to cutting-edge technology and customer satisfaction.”
Upload Files or Attachments: You can upload any files or reference images to provide additional guidelines or examples for your quest.
Example: Upload your brand guidelines document or any inspiration images
Add Skill Keywords: Include relevant skill keywords to attract more appropriate applications.
Example: “Logo Design, Graphic Design, Adobe Illustrator”
Add Tags: Include tags to attract more appropriate applications.
Example: “Logo Design, Brand Identity Design”
Select your Preferred Payment Currency: Choose your preferred payment currency from the list of options provided.
Input the Payment Value: Input the value of how much you wish to compensate for the quest.
Example: Select “USDT” and enter “100” for a quest worth $100 USDT
Set Quest Duration: Enter the number of days that the Solver has to complete the quest.
Example: “7” for 7 days
Preview Your Quest: Click “Continue” to go to the “Quest Preview” page. Review all the quest details to ensure they are correct, as you will not be able to edit the quest once it is submitted.
Submit Your Quest: Once you are ready, click “Continue” to submit your quest. You will be prompted to confirm your submission, click “Submit” and quest creation will be complete. It will need to be approved by our Admins before it becomes visible on the platform. You will receive a confirmation message in your inbox once your quest is approved.
Track Your Quests: Go back to the “QUESTS” tab and click on “My Quests” to see the status of your quests. From the “My Quests” you can view Pending Quests, Accepted (Live) Quests, In Progress Quests, Review Quests, Completed Quests, Rejected Quests, and Drafts.
Example: Check the “Pending Quests” section to see if your newly submitted quest is waiting for approval
Receive Notification: Once your quest has been approved, you will receive a notification. You can view your quest directly from “Notifications” or navigate to “My Quests” and check the “Accepted (Live)” tab.
Receive Application Notification: Every time a Solver applies to your quest, you will receive a notification. Click “View” to go to the Quest Dashboard, you can review the Solver’s proposal and offer, and message the Solver before accepting their application.
Review and Accept: If you feel that the Solver is a right fit, click “Accept” to have the Solver complete your quest.
Fund the Quest Escrow: After clicking “Accept”, you will need to fund your quest. The funds will be held in a smart contract escrow until the quest is completed and then released to the Solver.
Track Quest Progress: Go to the “In Progress” tab in “My Quests” to view the progress of your quests.
Provide Feedback: Use the Quest Messenger to communicate with the Solver, give feedback, or ask about the progress. You can also see the deadline timer.
Review and Feedback: When the Solver finishes the quest, they will request a completion review. Here, you can review the solver’s work and provide feedback for any changes.
Finalize Payment: When you are satisfied with the Solver’s work, you can settle the quest, which will release the funds from escrow to the Solver.
Note: A Quest cannot be re-opened for further negotiations after it has been settled.
Provide Feedback: Once the quest is completed, you can leave a review for the Solver. This is not mandatory, but you will receive XP for doing so.
View Past Interactions: You can check the Quest History by going to “My Quests” and clicking on the “Completed” tab to view details of your completed quests.
