# Create a Profile

THE GUILD is a web3 social protocol designed to help you monetize your personal and professional network. By combining social networking, job matching, and community building, we create a dynamic digital ecosystem where your connections become your greatest asset.

**Ready to dive in?** Let’s kick things off with the first step: creating your profile. Your profile is more than just a digital resume — it’s your gateway to endless opportunities, meaningful connections, and exciting projects.

### Step 1 - Signup

THE GUILD supports two signup options; Google and Twitter. You can sign up by clicking *“Continue with…”* and your chosen option then follow the instructions to authenticate your account.

* Click *“Continue with Google”* to use Gmail
* Click *“Continue with X”* to use Twitter

### Step 2 — Enter Your Referral Code (Optional) <a href="#bc39" id="bc39"></a>

If you have been referred to THE GUILD by a friend, you can type in their code and then click *“Continue”*.

Don’t worry if you haven’t been referred by anyone, click *“Skip”*, this is an **optional** step.

> **Note:** If you clicked on a referral link to get to THE GUILD, this screen may not appear or the code may already be filled in

### Step 3 — Choose Your Username <a href="#id-6994" id="id-6994"></a>

Type in your desired name and then click *“Continue”*. Make sure that your username is unique, otherwise you won’t be able to progress.

Congratulations and Welcome to THE GUILD! Click *“My Profile”* to complete your profile creation.

### **Step 4 — Connect Your Wallet** <a href="#da5c" id="da5c"></a>

After the initial sign-up and entering the platform, completing your profile is a crucial step to unlocking all THE GUILD has to offer. Completing your profile moves your account status from *“Read Only”* to fully active.

Click *“Connect”* under *“Connect or Create your wallet”* to connect your wallet.

Choose from one of the providers to connect or create a wallet for us to mint your profile NFT to.

> If you’re new to Web3, THE GUILD has you sorted. We have integrated Particle Network which allows for seamless wallet creation through your social accounts (Google, Facebook, etc.) Particle offers a flexible and accessible way to create a new wallet without any complexity.

After choosing your preferred method, follow the on-screen instructions provided by Particle.

### Step 5 — Mint Your Profile NFT <a href="#id-433e" id="id-433e"></a>

* (Optional) Upload an Image — You can choose to upload an image that represents you or your professional persona.

Click *“Continue”* to mint your profile. After the minting process is successfully completed, your Profile NFT will be linked to your account, serving as a distinctive badge of your identity within THE GUILD’s ecosystem.

### Step 6 —Welcome to THE GUILD! <a href="#id-1b20" id="id-1b20"></a>

* **Access Full Features:** With your wallet set up, and Profile NFT minted, your account is now fully active. You can explore THE GUILD, engage with its community, post or apply for Quests, and participate in discussions.
* **Customize Your Profile:** Now that the essentials are in place, take a moment to visit your Profile Settings. Here, you can customize your profile to better reflect you. Add a bio, link your social media accounts, and set your preferred job roles or skills.
* **Explore and Collaborate:** Take the time to navigate through The Guild’s platform. Discover opportunities for networking, learning, and growing professionally within our community.
